Roles + Responsibilities | Waiver of Liability

This page outlines the various responsibilities as “client” (you + your travel companions) and “travel advisor” (Inspired Luxe Travel LLC, referred to as “ILT” throughout this remainder of this agreement). It also includes a general waiver of liability. By checking the boxes, entering your details below, and clicking the submit button, you are indicating that you have fully read this page AND that you agree to the respective roles and responsibilities, as well as all items listed under the waiver of liability.

Travel Advisor Role and Responsibility

  • Inspired Luxe Travel LLC (“ILT”) has gathered pertinent details from you related to an upcoming important trip. ILT will use your feedback and preferences to create a custom travel itinerary proposal. Your proposal will include a minimum of 2 recommended accommodation options at each destination (usually several more than 2!).

  • ILT will book all transportation components between any/all destinations.

  • ILT will advise and assist with tour bookings and experiences (with the exception of spa treatments, dinner reservations, and other concierge-specific requests). A concierge upgrade fee can be discussed and added 2-3 months prior to departure.

  • ILT will manage all deposits and final payments on your behalf. Nothing will be processed without your approval (nothing is ever automatically run).

  • ILT will provide you with confirmations of all booked items via email and/or through our AXUS Travel App. A final complete itinerary will be provided via email and/or through AXUS Travel App. Paper copies/documents are not guaranteed.

  • ILT will assist with obtaining travel insurance quotes related to this itinerary and help you navigate the process of insuring your trip. Please note that rejecting travel insurance coverage will require you to sign a separate waiver.

  • ILT will assist with any needs related to this itinerary before, during, and after travel.

  • Fee: If a planning fee for ILT consultation and research services has been discussed, you will be sent an invoice upon submission of this agreement. All fees are non-refundable. Payment of fees does not guarantee availability or confirmation; ILT reserves the right to discontinue planning or reassess the fee(s) if the scope of the work changes.

  • Reminder: ILT cannot book travel components using vouchers, points, or miles. All items booked outside of ILT’s work cannot be managed by ILT. Items booked on your own, however, will be incorporated into your final itinerary to ensure all important travel details are in one cohesive itinerary.

Client Role and Responsibility

  • Clients are responsible for relaying their exact name (as it appears on their passport for international travel) and date of birth. This information can be provided to ILT via email and must be in writing. ie. “John James Doe DOB: July 15, 1976”.

  • Clients are responsible for making sure their passports are valid and not expired!

  • Clients are responsible for reviewing their final travel confirmations for accuracy and must relay any potential issues or important questions within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Clients understand that any itinerary changes after final payment may result in an additional fee. NOTE: flights can usually be voided within 24 hours and only for a fee after 24 hours.

  • Clients are responsible for checking into their own flights AND managing their own seating (upgrades, changes, etc).

  • Clients are responsible for monitoring their flights for schedule changes prior to departure (even though ILT usually gets notified and makes sure you are aware as well).

  • Clients are responsible for reviewing and understanding any risks in or alerts issued for country/ies of travel. This includes, but is not limited to, risks associated with exposure to COVID-19 or Zika, as well as safety and security/political stability.

  • Clients are responsible for reviewing travel related information as it is provided on the following websites:

  • Clients are responsible for speaking with their own health professional(s) regarding COVID-19, Zika, or other travel related virus risks, and obtaining any travel related vaccines or medicine for travel to certain territories.


General Waiver of Liability:

  • As your travel advisor, ILT is not the source or supplier of your travel services. ILT is only an agent between the client and the supplier and/or services booked.

  • ILT will only recommend and contract services with suppliers of sound financial status. ILT is not responsible should a supplier unexpectedly cease operation.

  • ILT is not responsible should any supplier fail to comply with local laws or engage in negligent acts.

  • ILT is not responsible for injuries or damages occurring on excursions, during activities, or caused by third-party operators.

  • ILT is not responsible for COVID-19 related travel rules and changes, including but not limited to: airline schedule changes, hotel and resort protocol, increased customs and immigration screening, health questionnaires and temperature checks, and last but not least — any potential self-quarantine mandates upon entering a new state/country or upon returning home.
